The Silverado HD now features a high-tech steering system called Digital Steering Assist. Beyond offering an improved response and feel, this technology helps the truck maintain stability and hold its line through the assistance of automatic electronic controls. Available on select double cab and crew cab models, the overall effect of Digital Steering Assist is better trailering and hauling performance.
The cab of the 2016 Chevrolet Silverado Heavy Duty just got even more relaxing and inviting with the new and improved MyLink system. The truck now features a seven-inch touchscreen as well as HD radio. The system even supports both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Also new for the Silverado HD is a Gooseneck/5th Wheel Trailering Prep Package. This package includes a spray-in bedliner, a fifth wheel hitch mounting brackets or a frame-mounted hitch platform and tray that accommodates a gooseneck ball hitch and a cargo bed-mounted trailer harness. With this package, the Silverado HD is ready and roaring to haul right out of the gates.
