The Chevrolet Equinox continued to impress customers at Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet all throughout last month, and even managed to score its best January performance ever with nearly 20,000 models sold in the country.
That marks a 34 percent increase over the same period last year and builds upon the fifth consecutive year of record sales. Last year, the Equinox became the second-best selling vehicle in Chevrolet’s lineup, behind the Silverado full-size pickup, and accounted for more than 9 percent of the rapidly-growing compact SUV market.
“The Equinox continues to win customers with its value-driven balance of performance, versatility and personal connectivity,” said GM North America President Alan Batey. “It also represents the depth of Chevrolet’s strong SUV lineup, ranging from the all-new Trax small SUV and Traverse to the redesigned 2015 Suburban and Tahoe.”
