Deck Out Your Tailgate

Amazing Chevrolet Silverado Tailgate Accessories

Chevrolet Silverado tailgate accessories can help improve every tailgating event, no matter the time of day. From illumination to safety, there’s a tailgate accessory for every occasion. Gather around the Silverado pickup and celebrate with friends and family this summer!

Tailgate Light Bars

Making your Chevrolet Silverado more visible when tailgating continues after dark is as simple as installing a tailgate light bar. Most light bars are fairly affordable and urge caution to those who happen to be driving by. Light bars are a cost-effective lighting and safety solution for those who never want the tailgate to end.

Tailgate Mat

Protecting your tailgate from scratches, dents, and other forms of damage doesn’t have to cost a fortune. A simple tailgate mat can go a long way in protecting the bed of your truck during a night of tailgating. Not only will a tailgate mat protect your truck and look good doing it, but it can also make those sitting in the bed more comfortable.

Tailgate Net

Keeping unwanted guests out of the bed of your Chevrolet Silverado is easy with a tailgate net. In addition to keeping people from climbing in and out of the truck, the net can protect your tailgating supplies. Containing coolers, grills, and other tailgating necessities can be accomplished by an easy-to-install tailgate net.

Of course, if you want accessories for your Chevrolet Silverado tailgate, then explore our lineup at Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet in Newton, NC.

Homegrown Tomato Festival

Tomato Celebration

Celebrating Tomatoes

This year’s Homegrown Tomato Festival is the place to be this July 28th. The festival celebrates everything tomato, ranging from crowning the best tomato grower to eating tomato sandwiches. The Homegrown Tomato Festival will take place at the NoDa Brewing Company. The local festival allows tomato lovers to celebrate as they please, with live music and entertainment keeping the event lively. Two contests, the Best Tomato Grower and Best Tomato Themed Cocktail, pit tomato lovers against one another in the quest for a crown.

Homegrown Tomato Festival Food

Tomato sandwiches, a hot commodity, will be in full supply at the event. The sandwiches feature locally grown tomatoes of all kinds, shapes, and sizes. The produce is grown by local growers and small farms. The Bulb will run this year’s tomato sandwich booth. The Bulb focuses on providing the local area with access to food sources and health and wellness education. To provide access to food sources, The Bulb hosts pop-up markets with produce provided by local farmers and culinary classes. Proceeds from the tomato sandwich booth will be split between 100 Gardens and The Bulb.

100 Gardens Charity

Proceeds from other attractions will benefit 100 Gardens, a charity that builds aquaponics labs and develops curriculum in local schools. The Homegrown Tomato Festival takes place on July 28th from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets cost $10 in Charlotte, NC. If you need a vehicle to get you to this event in style, consider one of our models from Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet.
