Camaro Driving Experience – 2015 Camaro readys for 2016 reveal

As the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro’s official debut creeps ever nearer, the automaker is set on giving us little hints, reveals, and teasers. Most recently, Chevrolet revealed that the all-new Camaro will set the new technological standard for its class. Drivers will enjoy the Camaro driving experience, one they customize themselves.

The new Drive Mode Selector includes settings for Snow/Ice, Tour, Sports, and Track (SS models only). There are different calibrations among the throttle progression, steering, stability control, and more for each setting. Also for the first time, the SS model will have Magnetic Ride Control, which will offer Tour, Sport, and Track settings that adjust the ride and handling.

“We wanted to build on the flexibility of the current Camaro ZL1, which is great for grand touring, commuting, the drag strip and track days,” said Aaron Link, Camaro lead development engineer. “The new Camaro will be even more adaptable, with up to eight vehicle attributes adjusted to fit a driver’s preference.”

The all-new Chevrolet Camaro has its official debut Saturday, May 16th at Detroit’s Belle Isle Park. Tune in then to see the first full look at the sixth generation Camaro, successor to the five-time Bestselling Muscle Car (2010 – 2014).
