What was the number one concern for Chevrolet when they were building the 2015 Tahoe? Answer: security. That’s why the new Tahoe is loaded with dozens of features that will keep its passengers safe and their belongings secure.
Most of the stolen vehicle incidents today are push-away and tow-away theft. Thanks to its new steering column lock as well as side cut keys to prevent lock-picking, the 2015 Tahoe can foil attempted thefts much easier. If that’s not enough, the robust door lock cylinder and shields deny access from slim jims and other tools.
For those buyers looking for even greater peace of mind, the TheftProtection Package can be added on to your new set of wheels. The package features glass breakage sensors, interior motion sensors, and an inclination/tilt sensor.
Keeping you safe from theft isn’t the only concern for the Tahoe. Chevy’s engineers also made sure that the safety of every passenger was accounted for in the design. There are suite of technologies like radar to develop 360 degrees of crash avoidance and occupant protection to take care of everyone inside the vehicle. Other important features like forward collision alert, lane departure warning, and rear cross traffic alert join together to provide the safest possible environment.
You’ll be able to find the 2015 Tahoe at Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet when it goes into production.
In its first year of eligibility for the IIHS’s Top Safety Pick, the all-new 2014 Chevy Spark really shone during the crash tests. As a matter of fact, the Spark became the first minicar to earn the award for the 2014 model year.
Over 62% of the Spark’s underbody and 42% of its upper body is made of lightweight, high-strength steel that absorbs and distributes impact energy around occupants. There are also driver and passenger front knee airbags to reduce the risk of injuries to lower extremities in frontal crashes in addition to dual-stage frontal airbags, seat-mounted side airbags, and side curtain airbags.
In order to earn the Top Safety Pick badge, the Spark successfully accomplished the highest possible score of “good” in the Insurance Institute of Highway Safety’s moderate overlap front, side, roof strength, and head restraint tests, as well as “acceptable” in the new small overlap test.
So if you’re in the market for a safe minicar this year, you’ll find the best option here at Dale Earnhardt Chevy with the 2014 Spark.
Well color us impressed! The all-new 2014 Chevrolet SS is a work of powerful art. In case you don’t know, the SS stands for Super Sport. Considering this is a performance car that packs quite the impressive punch of power, it’s a rather appropriate name.
It’s quite the surprise that such a powerful car looks like a family sedan. While it looks like a family sedan, the SS certainly doesn’t behave like one. The 6.2-liter V8 engine will immediately let you know that this is in fact a car capable of 415 horsepower and 415 pound-feet of torque.
Take the SS around a few twists and turns in the road, and you’ll be treated to impressive agility and responsiveness. The Bridgestone Potenza tires give it the grip it needs to stick to corners, and the suspension necessary for providing the right amount of suppleness.
Even if you weren’t a huge fan of the family sedan look before, you can’t help but be a fan now. The SS doesn’t have the bold, overstated design that so many sports cars seem to aspire to, instead it embraces subtle styling and poise that is very easy to appreciate and love.

If you’re heading to the 2014 North American International Auto Show in Detroit next month, you’ll have front row seats for the unveiling of the next generation 2015 Corvette Z06. According to Chevy, this is the most track-capable Corvette to date. It has been designed to deliver supercar-like performance with a unique powertrain, chassis, and new aerodynamic features.
“Chevrolet is America’s favorite performance car brand, and for 2014 we are going to offer enthusiasts more choices than ever before,” said Alan Batey, senior vice president, Global Chevrolet. “No other manufacturer will be able to match the breath of performance cars from Chevrolet.”
The Corvette Z06 will be the latest addition to Chevy’s new performance car lineup that already includes the Corvette Stingray Convertible and the Camaro Z/28. And it is quite the lineup. The Stingray Convertible has the same chassis tuning and performance technologies as the coupe, but it gives passengers the thrill that only a top-down driving experience can provide. Meanwhile, the Camaro Z/28 (which is expected to arrive at the dealership during the second quarter of 2014) has already proven to be the most track-capable Camaro ever with a 7:37.40 lap time around Nürburgring…in the rain.
As soon as this lineup is ready, Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet will have them all on the showroom floor.
